How it works
Build your Legacy Vault one memory at a time.
EverTheirs starts with a simple, familiar idea: preparing messages, stories, and guidance for the people you love. From there, it helps you organize those words into a private Legacy Vault that can be protected, reviewed, and shared with care.Future conversation features are being developed carefully and should only use material the creator has reviewed and approved.
The process
A careful path from memory to legacy.
- 1
Create your Legacy Profile
Start by setting up the person whose stories, values, memories, and guidance are being preserved. Choose who the vault is for and what matters most to capture.
- 2
Build your Legacy Vault
Answer guided questions, write memories, save reflections, and preserve the stories and life lessons your loved ones may one day wish they could ask about.
- 3
Prepare Milestone Messages
Create messages for future birthdays, graduations, weddings, holidays, hard days, and ordinary moments when your words may matter most.
- 4
Choose Loved Ones and a Legacy Steward
Add the people connected to your vault and choose a trusted Legacy Steward who can help protect your wishes and guide access when the time is right.
- 5
Review privacy and consent
Decide what stays private, what can be shared, and what may someday be considered for a future companion experience. Nothing should be used without your approval.
- 6
Future companion experience
EverTheirs is being developed toward a private conversation experience shaped only by reviewed and approved Legacy Vault material. If the vault does not contain an answer, the companion should say so honestly instead of inventing one.

Why the vault comes first
The vault protects the meaning behind the message.
A single recording can be powerful, but it is limited to one moment. The Legacy Vault gives a person space to preserve the fuller context: the stories, values, lessons, memories, and messages they intentionally want to leave behind.
That is why EverTheirs begins with writing, reflection, and review. The future companion experience should never guess who someone was. It should be grounded in what they actually chose to preserve.
Our intention
Not a replacement. A prepared legacy.
EverTheirs does not claim to replace someone, erase grief, or bring anyone back. It is designed to help people prepare the words, stories, values, memories, and guidance they want loved ones to carry.
The first version focuses on the written Legacy Vault: future messages, journal entries, guided reflections, loved ones, steward guidance, privacy settings, and consent controls.
As the platform develops, any future companion experience should be shaped only by reviewed and approved vault material. It should not invent memories, answer beyond what was preserved, or pretend to be a replacement for the person.

What EverTheirs will not do
- It will not replace someone you love.
- It will not erase grief.
- It will not invent memories.
- It will not use private entries without approval.
- It is not medical, mental health, legal, or grief counseling.
Give them words they can carry.
Start with one story, one message, or one memory. EverTheirs helps you prepare what your loved ones may one day need most — your words, your wisdom, and your love.
