Terms of Service

By using EverTheirs, you agree to use it for its intended purpose: to preserve and, where you choose, share words, stories, values, memories, and guidance with care and respect.

EverTheirs is in active early-stage development. Features may change, improve, or evolve. We will be transparent about what is live and what is in development. We do not guarantee that any specific future feature, including any future companion experience, will be released, will remain available, or will work in any particular way.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens through your account. Please use a strong password and contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to your Legacy Vault. You grant EverTheirs the limited permissions necessary to store, display, and operate the service for you and the people you explicitly approve. You are responsible for what you submit and for ensuring you have the right to share it.

The creator of a Legacy Vault controls its entries and permissions. Privacy settings, sharing decisions, Legacy Steward designation, and consent for any future companion experience are decisions made by the creator.

Any future companion experience offered by EverTheirs will draw only from Legacy Vault material the creator has reviewed and approved. Such features are in development, are optional, and require separate consent. The creator may revoke that consent at any time.

EverTheirs is not a medical, mental health, legal, financial, estate planning, or grief counseling service. It does not replace family, community, faith, therapy, or qualified professionals. Please consult licensed professionals for those needs.

EverTheirs is not a crisis or emergency service. If you or someone you know is in crisis or experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

Do not use EverTheirs to upload unlawful, harmful, or harassing material, to impersonate others, or to preserve content intended to harm. We may remove content or accounts that violate these terms.

You may close your account at any time. On account closure, we will delete your Legacy Vault content within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for security and audit purposes. You may also request deletion of specific entries at any time from your dashboard.

As an early-stage product, EverTheirs may evolve. We will communicate meaningful changes that affect how the service works or how your content is handled.

EverTheirs is provided on an as-is basis during early access. To the extent permitted by law, EverTheirs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
