Privacy Policy

EverTheirs is an early-stage product that helps people build a private Legacy Vault of stories, values, memories, milestone messages, and guidance for the people they love. Privacy and consent are foundational to how it is designed.

We collect only what is needed to provide the service and to keep your Legacy Vault accessible to you. Categories of information are described below.

When you create an account, we collect basic details such as your name, email address, and authentication information so you can sign in. You may also choose to add optional Legacy Profile details such as the person the vault is for, key relationships, and tone preferences.

Legacy Vault entries include the stories, written reflections, journal entries, and any media you choose to add. This content belongs to you. We store it so that you can review, edit, approve, or remove it at any time. Entries are private by default.

Milestone messages are entries you prepare for specific future moments. They are stored as part of your Legacy Vault, are private by default, and are released only according to the privacy and stewardship settings you choose.

If you add Loved Ones to your account, we store the names, relationships, and any notes you provide. This information is used to help you organize who specific entries are for and to support future, consent-based access. Loved Ones are not given access automatically.

If you designate a Legacy Steward, we store the contact details and guidance you provide for that person. The Steward role is intended to help protect your wishes and guide loved ones at the right time. Steward access is governed by the settings you choose.

If you join the early access list, we collect the information you submit so we can contact you about EverTheirs and shape the early experience around real needs.

We collect basic technical information needed to operate the service and keep it secure, such as request logs and device information. This is used for reliability, security, and product improvement, not for selling your data.

We use your information to operate EverTheirs, secure your account, respond to you, and improve the experience. We do not sell your personal information.

Legacy Vault entries, milestone messages, journal reflections, and your Legacy Profile details are private by default. They are not visible to other people, are not used in any future companion experience without your explicit approval, and are not shared with third parties except as needed to operate the service.

EverTheirs may, in the future, offer a companion experience that draws on Legacy Vault material. This feature is in development. Any such use will require separate, explicit consent and will only ever draw from material you have reviewed and approved. Voice, video, or likeness use will require additional, person-specific consent.

You can export a copy of your Legacy Vault and request deletion of your account and content from the Profile & Privacy area of your dashboard, or by contacting us through the option in the footer. We will assist you with deletion requests.
